Perspective on Strength

"I came across this quote today and reflected on its truth:

'Life teaches you to be strong all by yourself.'

For a long time, I believed this and even coached it to my clients. It was a cornerstone of my personal strength. However, everything shifted when I experienced trauma that led to PTSD, something I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I know many people, especially those dealing with heightened anxiety, struggle with similar feelings. During that time, I needed support more than ever before.

From the depths of my heart, I can say: that it's not always that simple to be strong, and that’s okay. If you're struggling with your strength right now, don’t be hard on yourself. Take a breath. Take small steps toward regaining it whenever you can.

When you do get there, you’ll feel the power you've reclaimed. I found my strength again—different than it was before—but it's a good feeling to come back to it. The truth is, no one fully understands your experience like you do, and no one will have your back quite like you can.

Focus on your strength. It will carry you through."

Thanks for reading!

Warmly,

Jo
